The best tracks on this album are the ones that are most derivative of Cuban ethnic music and least similar to Mala's dubstep background (e.g. 'Como Como'). In other tracks, Mala's idea of a Cuban influence is adding some Latin-sounding percussion. I don't understand why this is so highly rated when most of the tracks come off as lazy and uneventful. Seems like Mala came up with perhaps 5 strong Cuban-based tracks, and then came up with an additional 1/2 hour of filler in order to turn it into an album.
